I am having a run of bad luck with the horses, as usual everything happens at once! In the last 2 weeks the vet has been for a colic (of course on a Friday night), then on Monday one went in for a tooth removal which ended up as 3 teeth removed, another is coughing so today we have to take a look with the endoscope...... plus sore tooth horse needs daily visits for a couple of weeks. Poor guy must feel that he needs to live at the yard. He also charged me a ridiculously low amount for the teeth, basically just charged me for the meds even though there were 3 vets working on her. Plus they had a class of students at the hospital for their practical part of the course when we were there, but since they have so few horses in they gave her full examination of legs (including xrays) and full eye exam for free. Of the 3 only 1 has not needed a vet in the last week, so I am waiting to see what he will manage to do to himself! In the meantime I will be taking some very good whisky for the vet today.

Winters100 what a terrible run of bad luck! But really nice to hear about your lovely vet! Good luck with the patients - fingers crossed for swift recoveries.
