Lou, thank you for asking about Troy after my reply on the post about insurance, I really apprecaite your concern.

I'm afraid it doesn't seem to be looking too good, Troy had come sound after box rest since early July for a mystery lameness but a wekk later he is hopping again. He's off to horsepital for x-rays next week- the vet thinks its his fetlock joints. Am so scared, and gutted and my heart aches to see my poor big horse hobbling about.

I don't even know what to hope for- what problems in the fetlock could have a good prognosis- I don't know.

I hope it is good news for you. We have a Cleveland Bay at our yard at the moment who has been on box rest since April with coffin joint problems. We are about to find out the prognosis in about 4 weeks time

It seems to have been a dreadful year for lameness.
