My puppy broke my fingers 😬

Because he is built like a horse and he does not move if you stand on him in the pitch black when you are half asleep and need thr bog in the night ! So I went head over tit and broke 2 fingers and yelped like a little b!tch as they bent right back on the carpet and went " crunch" ......he just lay sleeping and still didn't move ffs.
I guess that wouldn't have happened if he was in a crate say or in my bedroom or lying at my bedside .

We use our phone's torches - there's one of those big lumpadoofas at each corner of the end of the bed

I do recall falling over Ace greyhound in the dark - he was only 45kg and a very different build - they should have hi viz and warning lights really!

I’ve had a few broken fingers from horses and boy do they hurt, I’d sit and do nothing if I were you
