Thank you all for your well wishes. We had a really good night saturday, she slept (in my bed
) the whole night through, so no need to call the vet in the morning. She was walking much better yesterday too, so there was me think "yay nice quite night sunday to catch up on sleep"...puppy had other ideas!!
She got me up 4 times between 1.30 and 5 asking to go out
so being the wonderful kind owner I am
I got up and took her out...but in my dodgy pjs!
Anyway took her back to the vets for a check up this morning and he is quite pleased with her. Although she is still uncomfortable on the left hind, she is walking much better than she was, but upon feeling her joints and legs etc he found a luxcating patella on the left hind
I tell you this puppy is a walking a-z of conditions! Because there was no sign of this on saturday, we are thinking that it may be she has a luxcating patella which she dislocated going up the stairs and that caused the fall. But it could be this is another result of the fall, can't be sure yet.
So for now we are just going to sit and wait to see how she changes (hopefully improves!) Vet and I agreed we don't want to jump the gun and start x-raying, mri scanning or treating something which may have not been the cause. The steroid injection he gave her saturday morning should last few weeks so we are going to just have to wait now.
Thanks for all the well wishes, will keep you posted.
P.S there is ACTUAL cake at my house if you get to the end!
