I thought some of you might like to see the hound i rescued, this is our beloved Jessie !,
i saw her when she was a tiny pup and rescued her from her horrid caged life, she is a Grand Bleu de Gascogne and she grew grand indeed from the wee scrap i first saw!
gentle and kind , i would recommend one to anybody but only if you have space and time as she loves to run!
i'm certain her ears grow longer every day!... so silky and soft, how can i resist!
love, love , love my Jessie Bear!!!

Just gorgeous, what sort of size is she?.x

she grew leggier ( is that a word?!!) and finer than others i've seen , she's similar size to a male german pointer, very deep chested and powerful.she's got a real ' old yeller ' hound bark that echo's off the valley here , it's lovely!
they are a fab breed with no health issues at all.

She is beautiful, and the pictures are great - love her ears :D I have always liked Grand Bleu de Gascogne hounds, there was one in the village I lived in a few years ago :)

She is gorgeous! I had a GBdG who sadly passed 4 years ago but was the sweetest, cuddliest dog ever! His ears got SO messy when he was eating as they always hung in the food bowl.

lol they do!!
i love all the hounds here, there are many different sorts, big and small and they are so gentle, i find them all the time and from sept-march i often have one or two in my basement when theyv'e got lost hunting boar and deer around my valley.
iv'e got a huge Weimaraner too and i adore him but for character i prefer the scent hounds as they are so calm
i look at my Jessie and i wonder at the rediculous ness of her, she makes me laugh just seeing those daft ears blowing in the wind!
