My run of bad luck is never ending!

Fracture splint in April, discovered granulosa cell tumour shortly after. Op to remove tumour 6 weeks ago, after healing to controlled exercise only. 3 weeks ago, collapsed heel on other front leg so support shoes put on, mare came sound, introduced to small turnout paddock. Yesterday, mare hopping lame on a hind now (makes a change!) and vet has dug out abcess.

Confined to box.....again, bute and poultice, blar, blar, blar!

Totally self indulgent, feel sorry for me post!

I know exactly how you feel. My run of bad luck has been going for three years now. Just as I think I'm making progress another thing happens! Grrr!

Thankyou very much! Mare is 20 as well, bred by my Mum who sadly passed away in July, she handed the reins ver to me shrtly before she passed.....I have the feeling this mare is going to give me one blasted thing after another!
