My Scope report - So proud of my mare.

I am back from scope already

Jumped the 1m Katherine James.

I am so so proud of her - the results arn't amazing on paper, but its both hers and mine first away show ever, and as usual in seniors, I think I was one of the youngest in it (I'm 13

) and Blu one of the smallest

Anyway..

Sunday - was in the Challenge arena, which was on a slope, and it was slippy. Was 7th in, out of 226 starters!

She jumped well, despite my very *ahem* rubbish riding to say the least! Went clear in first phase, and was going well in the jump off, but slipped a couple of strides out coming into an oxer on a slight angle, and couldn't really jump it, so ran to the side.
So finished on 4 faults, but it wasn't her fault at all, so was pleased with her

Monday - Was in the main arena, and went in 12th out off 224!

She jumped amazing!!

I rode a lot better too" Had a slight tap on an upright in 2nd phase (lots of people having it down - number 13

), and had it down, so finished on 4 faults.
But I am dead proud of her, can't believe how well she jumped!

Very very pleased

So didn't qualify for the final, but might be going down again on Friday for the consolation class thing.
Bought 2 pics from the sunday - they had no photographer in the main ring today

Hope everyone else is having a good time there - saw Fee_Fee coming out of the ring later in the afternoon, but didn't speak to her - she was smiling like in all her pics though

Pics and vids up tomorrow - there will be lots, I am chuffed

well done...going clear in the first round on sunday is fab and to only have 4 faults in the 2nd round and on monday is mega good as i can imagine the courses were really tricky!

The courses were nice actually, especially todays - a lot of people were having poles etc though.

I've just got home. Was there with my friend who jumped the same classes as you LadyBlu. She also finished on 4 faults both days but was v.pleased with how her horse went.

My friend was 30th in this morning so probably wasn't that long after you but I don't think I saw you. I spotted Fee_Fee yesterday on my way to the Challange arena. She's quite distinctive in those boots.

I went in 12th, then went back to the stables quite soon after.

Well done, with so many entries the ring cut up quite badly in places. My daughter rode in same class on Sunday, went in as 175th rider, went double clear despite losing a stirrup in the 2nd phase & came 22nd so didn't get to the championship but out of over 200 riders we were very pleased. She actually won money & a rosette.

Monday she rode same class again but in the Grand Arena. She went in as 62nd rider but got 4 faults. Overall very pleased with her & horse's performance though.
She'll be riding in the Adventurer Class on Wednesday so lets hope she goes well then.

- we made sure to get in earlier in the classes, especially on the sunday, as the mare dosen't jump well on very muddy or cut up ground, so we were quite lucky!

I was a bit gutted they didn't have a photographer in the Grand arena, I think he would have got some lovely photos of people.

Well done, you did better than me both days and sounds like you had fun. I'm back too as cant jump the consolation anyway.
