Had an fab day today, woke up at 7 and looked out the window to see pitch black and it pouring down with rain (thank god for indoor arenas!).
Got up to the yard and groomed and put boots etc. on Blu - for once she was actually clean
Loaded no problems and set off.
Got there and warmed up nicely for the first class (2'6ft), if a little excited! Went in and gave me a lovely DC and won it - my first win with her
She was err.. a little bit too happy about it all in the prizegiving, with lots of bouncing on the spot
Entered for the Intermediate 2'9ft and the 3'3ft Open. Warmed up again and went in to do another double clear, but too slow and came 5th. Still pleased though.
So warmed up yet again for the Open, went in and did a nice clear in the first round (My riding was pants though!), and unfortunatly just tapped the last fence, so 4 faults but a quick time. Was one of the smaller ones and we went a little quick and she flattened
Still came 2nd though!
So a brilliant day, won £7 and Blu loved every minute, as usual!
