I've had a quiet few months so it was a shock to be out competing both yesterday and today! Had a great weekend apart from the wind and rain today.
My bay horse went to his first jumping competition yesterday since he struck into his tendon eventing last July. He's been really naughty the last few weeks so I was expecting fireworks but he was really chilled and behaved
He warmed up really well but got overwhelmed in the main arena and forgot how to listen to me and jump so had 3 down. I was so pleased with him though and it was great to have him out again.
Today I took my chestnut mare and my sister's horse to our Riding Club jumping competiton. Started off doing the 3' class which my mare won (big shock!) and sister's horse came 5th having stopped at the first jump
I was feeling brave so I did the 3'6" class on both which sister's horse won with the only double clear and my mare came 2nd having knocked the stile down. I was so pleased with them too especially with my sister's horse as it's the first time I've jumped a course on him!
I'm so pleased with all the horses
