Here's my 2, Whisper the whippet and Morgan a lurcher
who has recently become a tripod. These pics show it
doesnt worry him at all!

Lovely dogs

Why did Morgan get his leg removed? He doesn't seem worried in the slightest.

Morgan had 3 operations on his cruciate ligament, in the mean time he got very bad arthritis in his knee so the last time
he ruptered it there was nothing else they could do. He'd
been on lead for 18 months due to being stiff and sore so
this really is the best thing for him. He's a running dog and
thats all he wants to do! These pics were taken just 3 weeks
after amputution, amazing

Wow...lovely dogs...your saluki X is managing great there....they do in general..esp a back leg....sometimes u can't even tell from a funny angle that they only have 3

Love, love, love salukis. And yours doesn't seem the least bit perturbed by having lost a limb. Dogs amaze me with their resilience.

I had a greyhound who lost a back leg too - it amazed me, it was like she hardly noticed it wasn't there

How the heck do you stop when travelling at that speed with only 3 legs. It amazes me how well they cope without.
