lovely dog.. but I am biased being a massive staffie fan! your boy is the picture of health as well..

did you realise where he was every time you took photos?

same as mine! waste of money buying them nice dog beds..

LOL Luci07 thats his own bed anyway, he has his own bedroom even... I did buy him a dog bed, but he prefers the human ones !!!! I love staffies, superb dogs, just getting a lot of bad press at the moment.... And its all pointed at the wrong end of the lead, its the human that needs dealing with...

Thx for your comment Allover

That second pic should be on a poster campaign for Staffies! He looks like a lovely boy :)

Thanks Brownmare, i have hundreds of photos with my son and busta together, he is amazing with him and has never ever been rough or anything, its a picture you rarely see when its a staffy involved, they normally show them with teeth showing !!!

Love your pic Foxyfilly, he looks a gorgeous hound dog lol, crazy too i expect... i have never known a staffy to be "normal" lol all heartattacks waiting to happen..... non stop

Now thats a proper staff! Hes just what I think of when I picture the breed. Lovely :)

Thx for that comment Vizslak he is a great looking dog, he is a little bit more muscular now than in those pics. I went to so many different places when i bought him, and saw some really bad ones. The place i eventually got him from, when i turned up outside the house, i thought my god, this aint gonna be any good, the house had "that rough look" to it, but as i had driven so far i knopcked on the door and when the lady answered it was unbelievable. Her whole house was dedicated to staffys from the cups to oil paintings, and still to this day the lady emails me asking how he is..

Sounds like a good person and obviously staff mad! I'm still in touch with my
whippets breeder after almost 9 years.

I have just started agility with my staffy x, she loves it! They are such clever
dogs.

She was a really nice person, and i could tell from the moment i spoke to her abnd saw how her house was that i was going to buy a staffy from her... She brought in the 3 dogs, i had pick of the boys, and it was busta that came over to me and stayed, so he made the choice for me as such.. She had a pure black one and a white too, but didnt show me too much attention..
Thats good the breeder still contacts you after all that time, shows genuine love for dogs and not for the money..
Agility training sounds cool. I take busta to work with me every day and he has run of a yard, plus i have fileds right next door to where i live and he has a good run about over there too. Stayyies are a lot cleverer than people think, but can act stupid if they need to lol

He is gorgeous. His coat is magnificent, both in colour and condition.

Having grown up around Boxers, and now a Boston terrier, I'll always have a bully breed in my life. They're so loyal, clever and such comedians.

as you said andybee the finger is pointed at the wrong end of the lead!!!! it is all about how the dog is mannered and brought up not the specific breed! your dog has lovely soft eyes... obviously has been reared with manners and love..

thanks for the great comments everyone.. My son is never left alone with him, even tho i do trust Busta 100%, he is very protective of my boy lol.
I keep his coat in good condition with codliver oil, regular brushing and by wiping him down every day with a chamois leather. Plus he is on a very good diet...

He's gorgeous!! Lovely to see a happy boy, well looked after and obviously loved alot. Sadly being involved with a rescue I get to see alot of staffs not as well loved as your boy, he's a credit to you. I have 3 staffie crosses of my own, all the most loving dogs you'd ever meet! I currently have a foster girlie very like your boy..she's a bull in a china shop, nothing is safe in the house she knocks everything over!! But cuddles like a baby so I forgive her!! She's found a new home luckily and they'll be taking her home after Xmas! Just got another 10 to find homes for!!:(

Hi cobgirlie,
yeah i know there are so many staffs in rescue homes now, its such a shame too many ( think of nicer words to put this!! ) total idiots are just breeding them for a quick ££.. i have had numerous requests from people asking me to stud my dog with theres and have always refused point blank, even one of my best friends asked and i said no...
Blimeu, i bet your house is chaotic with 3 staffies on the run lol, but i bet they have great fun together, cant beat staffys playing together, boisterous, crazy unadulterated madness !!!!!!!
Hope you manage to find homes for the others very soon, and thankyou for taking the time to take these amazing dogs in and look after them till re-homed..
take a look at this video, it is so so true... a society of dog lovers... MY ASS !!!

Beautiful boy. I am about to take ownership of my 3rd staffie. I was never a staff fan when I met my ex who had hers since she was a pup, Suki. She was 5 when I meet her (dog not ex!!) and we had 7 amazing years together.

I rescued another staffie (a cross breed though) last year who was amazing in the house and around the children and toddlers that visit here, Lydia. Unfortunately we didnt know her history and not only did I have £2500 worth of vet bills in 15 months, she turned on me whilst being frustrated with the yapping dog next door, I got in between and unlucky. WE think she was cross with pit bull or rotti.

It has not put me off and as I said, my new one arrives on Monday and I havent slept for 10 days with excitement. She is a proper staff through and through, and tiny and I love her dearly so fingers crossed!!!!

Photos of Lydia were posted in "for those of you who have never posted photos of your dogs" thread and I will add Dasher in there soon

Happy Christmas all staffie lovers.....oh and why oh why are my OH's family calling us chav's for having staffs? It drives me crazzzyyyy.

Ps there is another gorgeous staffie called Stanley looking for a home, pm me if you can help :) I am tempted, so is my OH but.....hmmmmm watch this space.
