My Stallion has a problem!

Have also posted this in the breeding section as info available seems really limited.

I've tried to google my question and maybe it wasn't the best thing to try and look up so I'm hoping someone on here could give me some advice please.

I have a young Stallion, he turned three in Summer and I've noticed a couple of times now that when he has he penis out it's kind of naturally curved in a semi circle shape, but facing away from the way it's supposed to point

He ran with a couple of mares in Summer and although he showed an interest I'd never once seen him try and mount them.

My problem is that I don't recall seeing him at all with an erect penis and so I now have no idea if this is going to affect his future as a stallion.

Has anyone else seen or heard of this at all - sorry for such a discussion

I've not heard of this. But would suggest you speak to a breeding knowledgable vet or experienced stud owner as they maybe able to help............ sorry, can't be more help!

Look on Equine Reproduction's website. They normally have informative articles which may cover this also.

I believe this can happen in men! I'm sure your vet will advise.

From what I can remember reading there is a small operation that can be carried out to rectify this problem.

And no, in case you are wondering if I am speaking from personal experience I am a female (the man in the first photo is my OH and in the 2nd photo is my Dad)!!

Peyronies disease is the name, have tried to google this in horses but come up with zilch.
