My straw pellets are coming on Tuesday!

My first trial of straw pellets are arriving on Tuesday.

I have only ever used straw or cheap shavings bedding so this will be a whole new experience for me.

I might start a thread about my trial from the point of view of someone who has never used a pellet type bed before, and has a horse who saves all his wee up for when he comes in!!

i am sourcing them from PelletBeds - http://www.pelletbeds.com/ - gone for their Premium Miscanthus pellets.

paid £169 for 33 bags plus delivery making them £5.12 per bag.

Im using wood pellets, having been on straw for years and they are amazing. SO easy. Im taking the poo out and searching for wet but it just seems to abzorb most of it. Ive taken the most out today after 10 days but still not enough to warrant putting another bag in yet.

We're trying the straw pellets from Stable Gold..........fantastic to use as in SO so easy BUT they are too dusty so we're using them under other bedding.

So thanks for this as they sound like they won't be dusty, will give them an email!!!
