Hi everyone!
My cat has become a mom! I'm so excited! The only thing that bothers me is that a kitten refuses to eat wet or dry food. The mother cat feeds her, but I want to add a little cat food to her diet. Does anyone have any tips? Maybe I should try making food for her at home?

If she’s young and mum is still feeding her then that’s all she needs. I think weaning is around 12 weeks (someone please correct me if this is old school).

It’s a bit earlier than that, I’m sure they are ready to leave at about 8 weeks aren’t they?
The vets thought when I took mine for his first jabs that he was actually only about 4/5 weeks old. I bought in good faith and was pretty annoyed/upset about it but he was absolutely fine.

I used to liquidise food for kittens at first. If you let the mother eat it as well, they soon get curious and follow her lead.

Very cute kitten.
