Just to keep me from going mad until the Vet gets to us this afternoon.
She has been lame on and off on front for a couple of weeks, intitially we thought it was a 'tweak' so rested.
she was then fine on lunge on hard and soft ground - fine on straight line trot up although first couple of steps were 'short'
have been gently riding out and had a few short 'test' trots. All felt fine. had a walk and small trot in a rather deep school that we had, she didnt feel sound.
yesterday hacked out - she was very forward going - marching along ear pricked. had a couple of 'tests' trots all ok - but on the way home she kept going lame for a few steps every now and then, kept pulling over to the 'softer' verge not wanting to go on the stony track. and when we hit a soft earth patch she went lame again for a few steps. In between the lame steps she was fine/sound marching forward ears pricked.
i have left her in today for fear that it may be lammi and vet is due this afternoon. (farrier tomorrow) wanted it the other way round but paniced this morning and rang the vet to come today.
i am so worried it is something seious.
any ideas to help me get through the day please......
