I prefer to ride in a thong, so long as there those nice soft comfortable ones, not like cheese wire lol.

However you are susceptable to pebble rash should one hit the deck, on ones bottom!

Does anyone else think that thongs are actually more comfy? I find it far more likely that you get a wedgie with normal pants, whereas thongs are already, erm up there, anyway, so no problem!!

Plus while we're on the subject of pants/padding - my mum has customised her jods with foam padding sewn on the inside of both butt cheeks (she has a cocyx injury) - looks like she has had bum implants and very funny! Does the job though!

It’s alright for you skinny minnies if i wore a thong i would never see it again. Not a good sight, too much flesh and not enough material........

Please try and remove that image from your brain it will give you nightmares....

OMG! Another reason to not wear thongs (or go commando), Kenzo!

I once fell from my horse and landed on my right hip. Off to A&E went I under the force of my instructor. Lovely young male doctor. He asked where it hurt, I told him but I said I could walk on it and it was OK, it was my head which I'd also banged that was the issue. He said 'let me decide that' and asked me to remove my jods!

You see thats what happed to me when I once used normal pants (belly warmers!) and I got chaffed in the errrrr...lets say lady garden area, I thought I'g caught some kind of sexual disease lol until I realisd it was a blister from riding!

I wear my son's boxers under my jod's, fine with a dark coloured jod's but I still get the VPL under my .... cheeks (so to speak!) in cream/white ones, so now I tie a jumper around my waist when I'm not on board!

Then I can say that I prefer a VPL everyday in the week, than those making sure the whole world knows they're wearing thong by having them pulled up so they're visible above their trousers waistband (though I doubt any of you riding ladies belongs to that last category).
