Thank you, my friend who took them has just started working as a pro photographer, I will have to get her to come to more events with me!!
Thanks Baydale, I hope your right, in the Show jumping he just didnt feel he was jumping big enough, hopefully he will suss it out for Wilton!
I know exactly what you mean Gamebird, I am actually looking forward ti wilton now, in a scared but not as scared as before kind of way if that makes sense!!
FrecklesMum - they dont seem to be popular any more do they, however frankie has such sensitive skin i like the way these are lined as they both rub or irritate him. My boots are Sergio Grassos, the ones with a squared toe. they are great as they look good enough for dressage and I can jump in them.
He's maybe a wee bit like Carthorse when he jumped his first Foxhunter - we had beautiful forward strides into every fence and I felt like he was jumping beatifully, yet it felt like we touched every fence and came out with 4 down. I just don't think that he'd clocked the extra effort he needed to do the extra height and particularly the extra spread.
Yep that sounds exactly like it, the only one I had a bad stride to was fence 2 and i cant blame him for having that one down, the rest felt great he just didnt jump quite high enough!
