How are the rest of you doing?

Mine are loving it too! we have had perfect weather the last few days with cool mornings and evenings and warm sunny days....just got to watch the old girl as she is prone to laminitis so she has been coming in during the day as our grass has gone a bit mental again!

I'm very fortunate in that mine are not laminitic :) The weather here looks set to be reasonable for the next few weeks at least, so I'm hoping to be able to postpone rugging for a while yet. Need to see about buying in my winter forage however. They are out with another, so probably going to feed direct from the round bale. I'm expecting them to need the extra from about November onwards.

Looks like your two are appreceating the weather.
It was realy quite warm here today. Poor Herbie still had his waterproof sheet on under his sweetitch rug and he was almost sweating. Only toruble with the weather turning nice again is the flys are back in force :(

Ugh, flies! :( Poor Camel Horse was being pestered by one whilst I was picking out his feet the other day; it kept dive bombing him.

I count autumn as being September, October, November, and then December, January, February is winter :) It fits with the weather patterns here!

Oh no, I have two seasons. "Summer" is when the horses are out 24/7, which is early April until the clocks change in October. Then it's "winter" and it remains so until "summer" begins again. Towards the end of "winter" I have been known to mutter things about spring, but basically it's horses in or horses out / summer or winter ;p

Lol, brilliant! :D

I'm loving the weather but starting to prepare for winter. It's scary how much the horses are moulting already. The horsey lifestyle is definitely the best though, even if it is a lot of work. :)

29C here today, supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow.

We have four seasons in Canada (they say jokingly)

Almost Winter, Winter, Still Winter and Road Mending :D

It smelled like Fall this morning, for the first time.
My horses are fed up with the bugs. Not to worry, it will be back to this soon enough :)

Enfys, he is gorgeous!

Oh heavens yes, the hair is flying everywhere. And the feathering is appearing on the backs of the Camel Horse's legs. last year, this occurred six weeks prior to the first frosts.
