Selle Francais Mare 16.3hh 3 1/2 years old by Isky de Baussy

Placed at county shows inhand potential sports horse youngstock classes.

Lightly backed over the summer longreined and lightly lunged. Just Had 3 months off now ready to bring on further.

Showing to be bold over SJ and XC jumps when free schooled.

Currently has some interest from a very well known Advanced Event Rider!!
 
I would guesss 5-6K looking at youngsters, as a buyer I think I'd be looking to spend 3-4K. Really depends how much 'potential' you can convince people she has

I was actually approached by the physio of this pesrons horses who said that they knew her and she is looking for a new horse and that she seemed to fit the bill.
I had not planned on selling but when I found out who it was I was completely shocked and thought well if she has that much potential then why not allow her to go do it!!
As I hadn't planned on selling her I don't have a clue on price. I know what I paid for her and what I have spent on her so far and I would obviously need enough for another horse......
Sorry for all the secrecy but I don't really want to say who it is just yet.
 
I would agree £5 - £6K but if you paid more in the first place I wouldn't want to lose anything. I think as you're not planning to sell her and someone else is making the approach you need to find the balance between getting a good price and not looking like you're trying to rip them off because you know they're interested. They will know what she's worth in the marketplace so why not ask them to make you an offer and see whether its worth your while. Are you sure you don't want to keep her and see where you can go together ?
 
I didn't pay any where near that much for her so I would be getting quite a profit. But as I said I would want to find another horse maybe a little older that was going to do similar things.
I am not an eventer and could never take her eventing but if she shows scope with dresage and maybe SJ who knows.
Its really more about the money then anything else and TBH of I sold her for £6k then it wouoldn't be worth my while as I would struggle to fond another horse for that sort of price!!
