My view on Badminton

[ QUOTE ]

Wow i didnt realise that people over here knew about it.
Due to the fct that no other horses had an issue and no one around area had felt anything they decided it was not possible. I think they may also have done a post mortem on him.
It was quite stressful over there for everyone, although the horses were kept in immense surroundings. If the horse had a weak heart or a problem to start with, the flight, the heat etc may just hve been enough!

bbc showed a bit of the coverage as I seem to remember crying my eyes out watching Lee Pearson give his flowers to the french girl

Indeed it was...knew it was one beginning with "L"

Yep, it was Lenamore. Slipped near us - it was quite a nasty fall, but thankfully he got up quickly and seemed to be ok.

I think Badminton is great too, my boyfriend, who has never been on a horse in his life is continueing to be increasingly "horsey" and although I wouldn't go and buy another horse yet (I know how much it costs!) we do have a nice yard in mind, he knows the difference a geltrack arena makes, how much a horse costs to buy and keep and....

he wants us to go to Badminton next year!
