My warmblood

[ QUOTE ]
One thing I will say, is that most TB's I've met need to be kept busy or they'll get depressed.

really?!!
I yet to come across a depressed horse TB or otherwise.

My trainer once said to me a horse does not know if he is a worldbeater or not and even if he was I am sure he would be far happier doing a bit of everything than being wrapped in cottonwool and travelling for hundreds of miles a year to compete.

well done u for being so concerned for your horse. He sounds devine !
We have a gorgeous New Forest called Liberty who was a cheeky girl when she was on box rest !! Have u looked into Pirelli or Monty Roberts ground work; really is good. Our girl is the talk of the yard because of her injury we had to spend loads of time doing stuff other than riding and it has paid off. We have a much better bond. Good luck to you. Enjoy !

Keep him he will love you for it. I had a warmblood for 23 years who was recently pts he was bred by Jennie Laureston clark dutch gold but I didnt but him because of that I bought him cos it was love at first sight!
