YAY so pleased for you, glad you've got someone for him now...hope he enjoys his new house too...take the pressure from you for awhile wont it? phew!

Detail all the stuff going with him and the condition in which it went in and should there be items being ruined or lost that the loanee should replace with suitable item as close to original as poss.
List everything I mean everything too....the current condition of Ben too and state that he has to have farrier every 6-8wks or whatever he is....and the notice period from you both too...

Oh and put on contract where he is to be kept and should the lady want to move him she has to ask you 1st etc etc...

Good luck, hope this helps you?

Well done. That's really great news.

Please, please, please visit the yard before Sunday. You need to know where he's going prior to him leaving your yard.

Totally agree
Ask to see household bills for loaner--photocopy if possible or copy detail
Take pics of her with your horse
Write down name and full address of yard and owner, get phone number
Think about insurance
Photocopy passport
Update Link on NED that this horse is on loan and cannot be sold
I am sure this person is lovely but sorry to say MHOL should not be needed but too many of these horses get sold on and like Tim the Arab exceedingly difficult to get back
Visit your horse regularly--never be put off--just go on spec

Definitely do an inventory of all the equipment going with him & get her to sign it too, & give her a copy. Also take a pic with date on it showing his condition before he goes for you to keep incase you need to refer to it later on.

Good Luck!
