Sunday morning was pretty miserable I have to say
frown.gif
, I was in the field with my mates and there was wet stuff coming out of the sky like no tomorrow, not to mention the wind that kept blowing up my bum
shocked.gif
! I tried running away from it for a bit with my pals but that didn't work, it was so bad that it put me right off eating. Then joy of joys I saw Mum coming over to rescue me and she had a tasty orange thing with her too - love her

.

Things were looking up, she took my wet jacket off and made a fuss of me
smile.gif
, BUT then she started putting those girly braids in my hair, uh oh this is not good news
blush.gif
. So I fidgeted about a bit, and made a bit of a mess, I think I got a bit nervous as I couldn't stop going to the loo, Mum was ok until it splatted all over her things - oops, I thought it was quite funny
grin.gif
!!

Then the wheely stable arrived and I went straight on as I could see some hay hanging in there although I was a bit disappointed that none of my friends were going with me
frown.gif
. It was a really short and smooth journey and we were soon off and Mum got on me really quickly as the wet stuff was still pouring out of the sky, we then went off to do some work and I heard Mum say something about warming up. Well the place we went to was horrible
frown.gif
, it was really really wet, and I was getting covered in wet sand - yuck
crazy.gif
. I was trying hard to pick my feet up high out of the wet, Mum obviously liked this as she said 'gosh George I didn't know you could canter like that' Some person I didn't know then called for us and we went into the warm and dry area - ahh bliss
smile.gif
. Then I saw the car parked at the end and the white boxes on the floor and remembered that this is where I have to behave, so as Mum had been nice and bought me out of the rain I tried really hard. I slipped a bit at one point, but got myself back together ok and Mum seemed really pleased and gave me a big pat and my favourite apple treat
laugh.gif
.

She then took me back to the wheely stable and made a fuss of me, brushed me and gave me a cuddle (it was ok as no-one was watching
wink.gif
), she then put me on the wheely stable with my hay so I was very happy. She came back after a bit, and she looked a bit sad and showed me a piece of paper (surely she doesn't think I can read
crazy.gif
), and seemed a bit disappointed about coming 7th and a score of 60.8% (I have never understood these marks, I looked a dude what more do they need?
grin.gif
), she read out that I needed to lighten my forehand. This then sent me in to downer, surely not another diet and not that dreaded muzzle again
shocked.gif
, but then I got another carrot so maybe I'll be ok.

A bit later she came back and seemed much more cheery, I heard her friend who had kindly given us a lift saying we had missed 1st place by 1.4% and that the competition was really close, then Mum told her friend that she was really pleased with me

Then at last it was time to go home, I arrived just at tea time, but Mum made me wait for mine as she wanted to brush and fuss me first - oh boy. Of course by the time I was allowed to go in my stable for tea I was STARVING and in my rush I trod on Mum's foot and she said what I understand to be a very rude word - oops!

I then spent the evening stuffing my face, having a snooze, and telling my mates that I do dressage don't you know - hee hee!

I think I heard Mum saying something about some official phots, so hopefully I'll be able to show those to you soon.

"Wheely stable" Brilliant, ha ha!

Ashamed to say I stood in the field shelter and decided fook that. I went home and had another cuppa. Well done on your score on such an 'orrible day!

Well done George - that is very good. My mum spend Saturday turning me back from run wild for 6 weeks scruffy beastie to smart show horse again - I have a really good No 1 skinhead.

Mind you, she then made me do work on Sunday, though we did get to have some fun on the jumps which I really liked. She then moaned that she still had to wash me as I got all frothy - well the weather might be wet, but it is still very warm.

I am off to do my first jumping show next weekend at Harolds Park as mum reckoned we should get round if I look after her - cheeky mum, she knows I am only a baby and it should be her doing the work.
