My worst rescue nightmare!!!!

A sensible Q... I forgot with my excitedness! How many of each sex are there? We arent fussed about any particular colour. Would just love to give one a good home for life

So sorry to hear about your nan Cayla

What a time your having lately
frown.gif

Adorable clan you have there! I'm sure homes will be found for such a bunch of cuties very swiftly. I'm available for home checks as well if needed. I can't say I envy you the chaos and destruction! How old are they? Nearly 10 weeks or you got them for a while??? LOL

Hi...thanx for the well wishes everyone......I sure have had a sh!t time of late, hence why I have not been on for a week, my life seems to be loving throwing grief and stress my way of late :, my Dr has even refrained from allowing me to work
frown.gif
(.......I have been making an out door puppy pen for the little horrors
crazy.gif
see they are keeping me busy

Little miss Lauren, I forgot u asked for a spaniel.....there are 3 girls and 4 boys, one of the goldens is a girl.

Thanx L, seen as u are not a worls away I may take u up on the home checks
smile.gif

Im sure 1 golden is a boy and one a girl, to check I would have to get of me fat arse
blush.gif

It will be feed tme soon I will double check.

They where handed in as 6 weeks....some are titchy one in particualr is humungus
crazy.gif
,
They where handed in to one of the practices mam works at, they people said they could not afford to keep them anymore and had no luck selling them
confused.gif
, they are well looked after very lively and friendly little things, it was an accidental mating, so im not sure whether they where afraid to rehome them into the wrong hands otherwise it makes no sense.....unless they could not afford to 1st vax, and knew they needed atleast this or where advised this to sell them.

So sorry to hear about your nan, puppies are a good dsitraction though.

I'm hoping you're a long way from Norfolk as I'd be very tempted by a little boy to go with my cocker girl.

Out of interest do you exclude people who work full time from adopting? I looked at the Munsterlander rescue site after Christmas as we had our friends one to stay and really fell in love with the breed, but you can't adopt if you work full time. Our current Cocker is a rescue but OH got her out of a very unsuitable situation without involving any welfare charities.

Right here goes
smile.gif
we do indeed rehome to people working full time,if the dog is suited to the arrnagement, we get alot of adult and younger dogs that will happily stay in bed all day, however if it's a tiny puppy then we have a time limit as obs puppy has to be trained and could not possibly be left crated 8 hours, and learn how to toilet properly or get any quality time spent with it.....we have however rehomed to those that have a doggi minder/walker in place or a relative....we jsut rehomed a little staffi x mastiff, she was 12 weeks and they have family(sister) coming in twice a day to let her out and spend time with her and refill her goodies for when she goes back in her crate(the same family memeber let their adult dog out this way aswell) so we made an acception.

They are beautiful!
I wanted a spaniel, but then I found my little rescue pup, they'll be scooped up pretty quick though
I like the one with quite a lot of white on its chest
smile.gif

So sorry to hear your having such a bad time Cala.
frown.gif

They are seriously cute! Would also be very interested in offering a home to a little girl, have absolutely no idea where you are based Im afraid so it may not be viable but would appreciate if you could let me know how we would go about it, assuming they've not all been snapped up already that is!

They are sooooooooooooooo adorable, I want them all!!!

But how does a litter of cocker spaniels ever find themselves in a rescue situation? They cost a fortune to buy? That lot would be worth thousands.

I don't know where you are, or the situation where Cayla is, but over here very little is moving, dogs and pups are practically being given away, and many ARE being given away, but people still keep on breeding
frown.gif

There are lots of puppies in rescue, sadly, of all breeds.

Im not to sure if the whole story is true or if they simply had no clue and wanted to place them in more capable hands for rehoming, they kept 2 apparently.

Maybe people are learning their lesson and not buying from back street breeders anymore....it's doubtful, but we can live in hope.
