I posted some time ago about my brilliant idea of sharing a WP with my YO - she could house her, provide a stable and give her pocket money for her share of yard work/riding - I was to train her in return for some help with exercising my lot.

Now my YO has decided she can't cope with a p/t girl and has told us both she wants her f/t. If the WP doesn't want the f/t job (ie not getting my training or opportunities to hunt), then the YO will get someone else instead. I have no way of providing accomodation so I can't have the WP either..........

This is my busy time with all horses in and being worked.......... AARRGGHH!!!! :( :( :(

Poor WP too! Hard on him/her to have their entire living arrangements and T&Cs changed like that. Hope they are being given proper notice and ideally some kind of (statutory?) redundancy too.
 
She's just working for the YO now - she was spending her afternoons with me - the YO half of the position has expanded to fill the day apparently :(:(

I had planned my winter around having help :(

do you think someone would like to help hack some nice hunters??
 
Advertise for help! Work in return for rides that sort of thing... you might get an equine studies student or someone who doesn't have a horse of their own who would love the opportunity!
