Hi everyone.

Thought I would post a few photo's of my rising 3y/o Dutch WB, and see what you think of him in general- and confo and movement.

Back in August at the BEF futurity- where he was Elite (Show jumping)

And a few from today

And his lines...

I'm going to present him to the AES in April for grading.

Sorry about the photo's from today, the light's a bit rubbish and he's scruffy at the moment!

Thanks :)

He is stunning, looks like he may be a rather nice breeding stallion, lovely paces and a kind eye. You must be thrilled with him :)

What are you planning to do with him?

Sooooo wrong - from a fruity dog!

He is rather stunning. I'm afraid that I am rather clueless about breeding and gradings. Did he have to jump for the grading - or is that only for the older horses?

Sorry - told you I was clueless!

Thank you! Yup, he will have to loose jump as he's only 3. They start jumping under saddle at 4 :)

Thank you :) I am indeed!

This year i'll be taking him out in hand again, to the grading an he'll go back to the BEF futurity.

He'll do some dressage next winter, and either some BS(JA) and/or BE 4 y/o classes, haven't totally decided yet! :)

Ah the boy himself!

He is looking really well, what have you been doing with him over the winter because he's held his muscle nicely.

You know what I think of his confo - that hasn't changed but my hasn't he come on! I'm very impressed with him he's a stunner.

hey ml! :)

Not a lot tbh, he's been in for ages (no turnout at the yard) and he's coping really well.

have been lunging him every other day/ sometimes every 3rd or 4th day and hand walking every other day, and that's it really.

thank you! :)
