I'm thinking of getting one to try on my Horse. He is fine most of the time in his KK but gets a tad excited when jumping. Teeth/back/saddle all ok and we do lots of training and gridwork. He's just very keen. Anyway, although I have control in the KK at times I have to be quite firm and he has got quite a sensitive mouth, to the point he sometimes gets a wee cut in the coner of his lip. It doesn't bother him but it must be sore.
Anyway, I thought of the combo as it would take the pressure of his mouth. My question is, can you still maintain a contact with it or do you have to be very light?? It's the triple barrel I've been recommended.
