I am considering using the myler snaffle with hooks and using the curb feature on it... has anyone tried the myler snaffle with the curb.. and how have you found it? Any good?

Sorry, no I haven't. I am a huge fan of mylers but its the one thing I haven't tried. It's worth a try though - they're designed with curb hook holes so it can't be completely stupid!!

it is appreciated.. just need that little extra something when out hunting.. normally great in an ordinary snaffle and cavesson, wondered if this might just do the trick from what i've read seems to work like a mild kimblewick..?

I have a myler Pelham. It has the snaffle type bit and also the curb and double rein feature. Works quite well as the bit is the same as his usual myler but with the curb action if required. Don't usually need the action though as only wear it for open showing classes.
You could hire one from the bit bank, would give you a chance to try without parting with lots of money

No help from me I've just bought the myler Pelham comfort snaffle which obvs has a curb. Have never used a curb on the plain comfort snaffle- maybe their own website will have more info?
