Went out about an hour ago to settle the horses with their haylage, just been out now to feed them and my Tb looks like he has chicken pox , all over his head and body!! He was kept in today due to the bad weather, but that wouldn't be anything unusual. The same thing happened on night last August and they disappeared overnight. Has anyone else experienced anything like this before, is there any rogue flies going round at the moment? I haven't changed anything or his routine, so I'm thinking the problem had to have wings! When it happened last year I was heading away the next day, and tomorrow morning I'm meant to be heading away for a quiet weekend - I don't think he wants me to leave !!!!
