Psyllium seeds, Calcium carbonate, Sodium bicarbonate, Grass meal, White mineral oil, Brewers' yeast, Glutamine, Oligofructose (dried), Saccharomyces cerevisiae extract.
Psyllium (gut muculage and laxative aka Senna)
Calcium Carbonate (aka limestone flour. Main ingredient in Rennies)
Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda - buffer to stomach acid, but also available in horse's saliva naturally)
Grass meal (do you really need to buy that in a tub?)
White mineral oil (aka paraffin - filler)
Brewer's yeast (available very cheaply elsewhere)
Glutamine (amino acid - available cheaper elsewhere)
Oligofructose (artificial sweetener)
Saccharomyces cerevisiae (brewer's yeast - apparantly listing it in Latin means you can put it twice to make the label look bigger
Limestone flour is ridiculously cheap and available at all horsey shops. Please be aware that by adding more calcium to the diet, you run the risk of upsetting the balance of the other minerals in the diet.
I would use the money saved into buying Aloe Vera juice for a 'stomachy' horse.
I was wondering about this or aloe Vera juice, you can buy the juice in the Chinese supermarket or we have it in Asda (way cheaper than seven quid for 500ml) It is pure but I don't know if they add sugar or something, may get some and if it doesn't try it on the hoss?
