Naf general suppliment.... any good???

After realising that the Badminton Balancer that I had bought yesterday at £12 was only going to last for 13 days (20kg fed at 1.5kilos a day)!!! I took it back as it was crap value for money regardless of if it worked or not!!

I exchanged it for the Naf general suppliment......

Anyone use this???

I use it on my mare, not really sure it makes much difference to be honest..although she has quite a shiny coat..

I've had good results with pink powder which has higher levels of nutrients and added probiotics and is pretty cheap. Haven't tried the general one though.

When i put my boy on the general supplement he got ridiculously spooky! Pink powder is better IMO and works better for him

My sisters' ponies (middle two in my sig) are both fed a handful of chaff + NAF all year round and look great on it - a little too well occasionally

. Not sure if it's the supplement or the grass (they're out 24/7) but it's cheap enough that I'm happy to feed it anyway - at least I know they're getting all the essential vits/minerals this way.

another vote for pink powder, helps them make use of what theyre already getting rather than adding more, and its the only supp my boy will eat and its economical too, little tub lasts ages.

Thing is he only really gets a scoop of dengi hifi and 24/7 turnout, so I feel he could be lacking in general vits and mins and needs them to be added

Pink Powder IS general vits and minerals. It's feed balancer without the protein element.

Ahhh right, I thought it was just a pre/pro biotic and that you still needed the feed to be fed ..... doh!!!
