Has anyone tried this for allergies?? My horse tosses he head at this time of year due to an allergy to pollen but can't say that he is true head shaker. I noticed this had bee pollen in so could be good for pollen allergies.

I wouldn't say my horse is a true head shaker either and last year I tried everything from pollenx to just honey but nothing worked. At the end of the saeson I found Naf Head Shake, so this year as soon as she started I brought some and in 2 weeks I had no more head shaking :) I will definitely carry on buying this product, it is expensive but try it, I like it.

I tried this product when it was first released by Naf, yes I did find it had some effect on my horse but only at a massive dosage level, I was going through nearly a tub a week and I just couldn't afford to keep him on it. Unfortunatley supplement companies know what a debilitating condition headshaking is and I believe they are inclined to take liberties when pricing their products :o(

I have a fab little horse that started headshaking a few weeks ago when the weather got warmer. She started flicking her nose up on a hack but this has got worse to the point that she nearly hits me in the face and loses her footing. She normally doesn't seem too bothered by flies and i have tried riding her in a fly veil, but this dooesn't seem to help. She literally acts as though a bee has gone up her nose and is normally such a nice horse, I know that whatever it is, is hurting her badly. She will try to strike at her nose whilst trotting along. I have googled til I'm blue in the face and came up with a company called Equiwinner.co.uk. This company promises a money back guarenteed course of treatment for £59, said to totally cure headshaking. It may be a load of twoddle but I'm willing to give it a try. I have received my patches, with 2 extra free and have started treatment today. I will keep you all posted as I go along with the course. Fingers crossed.

My mare was a headshaker and had an allegy to pollen, I brought her a nosenet she wasn't overly keen at first but it eased the head shaking once she got used to it.

I tried the naf product, didn't see a difference, polinex seemed to be better with a nose net and veil, think his was more due to flies than pollen tho!this year have tried off the pollinex and as of yet doesn't seem any worse.saying that, different products seem to work for different horses so maybe worth a try?
