NAF Magic vs Equine America Magnitude/ Equimins Magnesium Calmer

I was wondering if anyone has used NAF Magic has successfully switched to Equine America Magnitude or Equimins Magnesium Calmer and had the same results? Or did you see better results on NAF Magic.

I originally put my horse on NAF Magic over the Autumn/ Winter & have certainly seen a difference in the reduction of tenseness and increased ability to concentrate so I’ve continued with this. Whilst it isn’t super expensive it doesn’t seem to be as cost effective as Equine America’s or Equimins’ versions would if it has the same effect. I’m looking to reduce (if I can …) my spending on horse-related bits and pieces but equally 100% happy to keep him on NAF Magic if it is worth the additional cost over alternative calmers.

Has anyone used both NAF Magic and either the NAF or Equimins versions on the same horse and found a substantial difference between them or are they much a much?

I cant help with the comparison but my new mare went on Equine America Magnitude a week before she came to me .. I wont lie we were all dreading the move as she is a rather stressy mare but NOTHING ... she came off that trailer on day one like she'd just been out for the day and had always lived with me so I rate the product highly.

Obviously I should say its because im a pro and my yard is run very well and that's why she settled in easily as well *ahem* LOL ;)
 
I used the equine america mag for my stressy mare ( she gets so excited when i take her to things she literally shakes) I wanted to see if it would help with that. I can't say it did nothing but didn't make enough difference for me to bother buying it again tbh
 
I don't know what they put in some of them but I do think different horses have different results with different products

People swear by Magic, Equine America and TopSpec had no effect on my old pony where Global Herbs Supercalm and Horse First Relax Me worked better

The thing I found that worked best of all was salt and brewers yeast
 
Thanks for all your replies :) It seems like it might be a case of just trying until you find one that works - as NAF Magic definitely does work for us, I might just leave him on it for now :)
