and to save her stressing whilst travelling (as she does) i bought a tube of magic by NAF, and what a load of cr*p that was !! i followed the instructions and she was still full of it !! grr ! not good when you horse is climbing the walls lol :P Any one else found this product good or bad, can you recommend any other calmers that just take the edge of things but leave performance ? thanks

I have used Global herbs Supercalm - found it worked quickly and well.

Is that the ones you can buy in the little sachets ?

I use Oxyshot and works like a dream for my boy! It does take a bit of trial and error tho to get the best out of it. One friend uses it 2 hours before riding whilst one uses it 30 mins before, depends on horse

I tried the NAF magic and I didnt think much of it either. The bluc chip calmer seemed to work moderately well on my black horse, but the best calmer I have used by far is something called relax me, which is by an Irish company called horse first. It works well but without taking anything out of the horses actually performance, it just takes the excitability/edge off them. I currently have two of my nutters on it, its made a big difference, and if you try it and dont think it has worked, you get your money back... cant get much better than that!
