Has anyone used NAF Metazone before?

If so what did you use it for and did you feel it worked?
The write up for it is pretty vague and sounds like it could work for any/everything.
I have seen reviews for improvements from arthritis to head shaking and it has me intrigued.

Thanks all

I thought the same, very vague!

David Marlin is absolutely scathing about it. I appreciate he has a dog in the fight but when I looked at the ingredients, it was a pile of shit. I also think they do another supplement with near identical stuff.

Resurrecting an middling old thread.

Has anyone used this with success?
An acquaintance tells me feeding this means her horse no longer needs hock injections. As F was injected for the second time last week I wondered if it was worth trying. I feel he may need additional help.
He has NAF In the Pink Senior, for general vits and mins plus gut and joints, and Boswellia as extra for joint help at the moment.

I was one of the product testers for this. They gave me a bottle free. I don't believe in supplements generally and as a (lapsed) scientist, I would say that the ingredients look nonsense. But you know what? I swear my horse went better on it, she had arthritic hocks.

I also thought what is in it that's so special but acquaintance says her mare goes much better too.

I've left a message on the NAF helpline. I know they'll promote their own products but I want to know if it is worth changing from what I buy now. F has such small feeds he needs vits and mins, plus joint and gut help. Not wanting to end up buying Pink and Matazone if possible too many £££'s.,

Woudl be interested to hear what their response is.

I have a good friend who uses it for a headshaker and swears by it. Powder very unpalatable so go for the liquid.

From discussions it looks like the differentiating ingredient is peony bark. This is cited in literature as anti-inflammatory/ autoimmune type modulation.

As with all/most herbal stuff controlled trials are pretty much non-existant / not worth their salt, but with that as the caveat there is some literature available if you run a search on google scholar

Yep and NAF don’t specify quantities so it could be 0.1g and they’d include it!

The NAF advisor rang.
She suggested instead of Pink Senior and Boswellia I buy NAF Super Flex Senior plus and their Veteran General Supplement. If I think F needs more help add the Boswellia again.
When I asked about Metazone she said it was for comfort and stronger than Boswellia.
More to think about but I'm not convinced by the Metazone information somehow.

Well they are right because there isn’t much of anything in Metazone for joints!

660ml per litre.

I’m not specifically arguing for or against, just trying to give a balanced view
I was being general about NAF supplements 🤪 I appreciate for some they do give you a quantity but you have to do your own research to find out if that is likely to effective or not 😀
