NAF Mud Guard

Sorry all i seem to be posting about is bl**dy mud fever, does this work? I'm going to get some muddy marvel de scab but i'm beginning to wonder if maybe feeding something might work, I've tried everything else! Thanks

I used and would say that yes, it does work. However, I can't say for certain if the MudGuard or other changes in diet/management were responsible for the improvement.

Just out of curiosity what else did you change when you added mud guard into the equation?

Worked wonders for me! I swear by it - to the point where thats all i did, no creams/washing etc - no MF!
Best thing to do is load up on it a month or so before the mud gets bad = no MD for me!

Ok think I'll get some then, he already has mud fever now will it help in getting rid of it or is it purely preventative, he had it in the summer only a little bit though believe it or not! It has just got worse and worse, his legs are swollen but he isnt lame even antibiotics didnt particularly help only got rid of the swelling!

Yes it will still help clear it but it will take a bit longer - i'd give the highest dose they say on the box

I stopped washing the legs, change turn out fields around and stopped feeding alfalfa.
