It is a vit/min/amino acid supplement with brewers yeast. As such it provides vits/mins that may be lacking in the diet and the yeast helps the gut utilise fibre better. The horses digstion is therefore helped and food is better able to be turned into condition because the digestive process is more efficient.

Before feeding it it would be wise to review the horses diet and ensure plenty of forage is being fed and the hard feed is appropriate, as you may not need to use a supplement. Its not horrendously expensive though so worth a try if you think your horse needs it.

We use it -firstly for a horse with a fragile digestive system (colics easily) and have now put the whole herd on as it seems to keep them very regular with good quality droppings.

It's stopped him colic-ing - hasn't done it since being on it - and had had 4 colics within 4 months prior.

Not lots of ££ so happy to use it!

I feed to it my mare started, when her energy levels dropped but since she has been on it her coat gleems and she has dapples all over her coat, I dont feed as much as they recogmend, she gets a heeped spoon full, I wouldnt take it out of her feed though!

Mine has just gone onto it as he is being fed mostly haylage at the moment and his droppings had become very loose (not what you want with a gray!) - the pink powder has made a significant difference with his droppings..

I feed it to both my boys mainly as my grazing isnt great, they are both pretty good-doers so don't get much hard feed. I use this as I know then they are getting all thier vits/mins and helps keep their digestive system working. Have been using it for a while now and both mine have a good coat and look well.

Its brilliant - I have fed it for over a year now and would not use anything else. Its so much cheaper than any other balancer. My mare is looking brilliant on it and keeps condition really well. She gets one level scoop morning and night.

I can second the above positive reviews. My event pony as a kid was, dispite having professional advice on his diet, not keeping condition and pink powder completley transformed him. Well worth it.

I feed it to my 11 year old TB and also daren't stop! I could never get any decent weight on him and he had the biggest feed on the yard with lots of good things in that should have been making a difference. Since he's been on the pink powder he's put on weight and his skin and coat has improved, before he always had flaky dry skin.

I started to feed it to him to make sure his gut was getting the best out of his food, as I didn't think he could have been. He can be quite a stressy TB at times and he seemed to stress off any weight he gained. The Pink Powder seems to have done something, it's the best I've ever had him looking. Not mega expensive and IMO well worth it.
