NAF Respirator

hi my boy was on the liquid for 4 months with not much differance. hes now on garlic powder blue chip and has always got a likit respiritory lick in field and stable. and is a happy chappy( hes not in work at the moment thou) . equine america do a really good supplement for respiritory my boys on it when hes competing .but remember all horses are different and it depends what you horse is suffering with. i remember my vet giving me some very expensive powed to go in his food which was great cant remember the name but you can only get it from the vet. (jack has copd or whatever they call it now)

I have used it for the past 2 winters for my old mare. It definately worked but a little two well. Both times I have used it she has suffered bad chest infections which started off as a mild cough. Vet thinks it masked the problem.

Not sure I would use it again with her but she is prone to picking up all infections going, but would certainly consider it for another horse.

Depends what you want it for, as ridiculous as it sounds I had a horse with quite servere COPD and honey worked a treat - far cheaper also!

Used the powder for my mare for 12 months after she had a serious chest infection. It seemed to be quite effective - vet has said her lungs are complelely clear now. She does sneeze and clear her throat quite a lot so vet suggested using Secreta Pro instead - this has helped a horse on our yard recover from a very bad respiratory attack brought on by long term box rest.
Our mare seems very well on it, and it should be more economical than Respirator (£70-plus every 12 weeks compared to £24 for 10 weeks with Secreta Pro). Only downside, it has coriander and similar in it so she smells like she's been for a curry!
