Hi All,

I am in a lucky situation where I receive NAF products for free and to trial, and have been given a tub of Senior Pink Powder to try on my older competition horse. Is/has anyone else tried this? Have you seen any bennefits yet?

Thanks
Lucy

I'm not a nutritionist (sp?) or really have much of a clue about this, so very much from a laymans point of view, it seems to me to be little difference to normal pink powder.

Having compared the ingredients, vitimins, mininerals etc on he NAF website there are a number of more ingredients in the Senior version such as Gingko leaves, Ginseng (Siberian), Glucosamine and Bitter orange peel. The both have the same protein values at 12.5%

There is no Pantothenic acid (whatever that is:confused:) in the senior but that's the only other difference I could see. The individual values are ever so slightly higher in the normal version to the senior eg 10mg/kg more of B6 in normal to senior and 17mg/kg more of B2.

All of the above assumes, of course, that I've read everything correctly and not got them the wrong way round but even if I have there appears to be very little difference between the two.

Kinda seems to me to be a marketing ploy to get us to buy something different  for our beloved oldies! I wonder what the price difference is? Good on you to get it free!

Happy to stand corrected on this analysis by folks who are far more knowledable and experienced than I am :)
