Yes used it some 18 months ago when it first came out as my big horse had gone into autumn very overweight, I used it for 3 months and made sure that he had regular exercise and he lost the excess weight and has maintained his ideal weight ever since, he is a very good doer so being overweight was a problem but had read some good reviews on it so gave it a go his workload didn't change, NAF said that they have to be in regular work for it to be effective so would assume that it boost their metabolism to ensure that the necessary weight. If you use it you need to make sure that you weightape your horse on the same day of the week at the same time as their weight goes up and down during the day.

Teddyt - he is completely clipped with only a rainsheet on, hacked out 3x weekly (my maximum until its lighter) and gets a handfl of topspec lite at the mo. I'm also starting to muzzle him. He seems to get fat by just looking at grass lol

My good doer is on it as she wears a grazing muzzle during the summer. As already said it does not assist with weight loss just ensures that she gets the vitamins and minerals she needs on her restricted diet.

The day someone invents a slimming pill for horses will be a happy day for me and Daisy.
