I have a young dressage horse, he doesn't have any problems but because of the nature of his work i've had him on NAF Super Flex since he was 4 years old, it has been steadily rising in price and is now 25% more expensive than when I started him on it 18 months ago! I was picking up a new tub last week when I noticed Equine America Glucosamine 10000, which is half the price and wandered if maybe I should change supplements.
He is on the supplement as a preventative measure, simply due to the type of work Dressage horses do. Prevention is better than cure and all that!
The main difference between the two is:
NAF has 5000 Glucosamine and 5000 MSM
and
Equine America has 10000 Glucosamine and just under 2000 MSM (if I remember right)
Any opinions to which you think is better and would higher Glucosamine be better or higher MSM!
Thank you!
