Has anyone else ever fed NAF superflex senior supplement that has sent their horse crackers?

I started feeding regular superflex (not the senior version) and noticed a real improvement. Fast forward a year and there was a buy one get one free offer on superflex senior just as I was running out so took advantage (horse in question is senior after all). He's been on it now since before Christmas and is absolutely bouncing off the walls! Not necessarily in a bad way, he feels absolutely fantastic, physio also was out for routine check last week and commented how well he looks and feels but I'm wondering if its the superflex senior? Nothing else in his feed/routine has changed at all. Another livery on the yard also took advantage of the same offer with her senior mare and commented exactly the same so curious to know if its a thing?

I'm thrilled he feels so well but have fond memories of when every hack wasn't quite such a hair-raising, white knuckle experience xD

We've noticed the grass has suddenly started to grow a bit here with the milder weather...could it be the sugar?

Its also possible they have reformulated the supplement and changed it somehow, companies do that and don't always tell you!

My Old Loon has a high inbuilt "Silly ***" quotient. Usually, bounce, bounce, SPOOK. He's now doing the occasional "How high can I get my back legs over my dock?" to add to the routine . . . YO reckons it's the Spring flush.
