I ordered my Grand daughters xc colours mid November as Xmas present. They never arrived so phoned no answer and left message. Emailed no answer. Put post on their facebook and they replied and said they would post the next day. That was Dec 13 but nothing has arrived. I have reposted on their facebook page .I just hope they arrive tomorrow

Keep chasing. In the meantime, though not ideal, how about printing out a picture of said XC colours so you have something to give on Xmas day?

Christmas is our busiest time of the year but this year we have been overwhelmed with orders and enquiries, which is great for us but has resulted in an anxious wait for you, which we are genuinely sorry for. We have been furiously sewing away so that our customers would receive their orders in time for Christmas. We hope you and your Grandaughter are happy with her lovely gift.

One can understand it being a busy time of year but from a business point of view promising that which you cannot deliver or have no intention of delivering is worse than holding your hands up and saying "I'm really sorry, it's going to be very close to Christmas if we can get it out at all in the time". IIRC it was 13 December that the order was to be posted the next day . . . and that from a mid-November order.

Communicate, communicate, communicate! btw if you haven't phoned, emailed or PM'd Carthorse then I think that ought to be very high on your list of priorities. After all, she tried phone and email before finally getting the 13 December response through facebook.

Agree with this completely. My OH has ordered me a show rug which has to be made & then embroidered, when we ordered they said quite clearly that it may well not arrive in time as has to be made etc. Thats completely fine, we know where we stand & are not anxiously awaiting the post, but if we had been told it had been despatched we would be a but fed up by now, & especially for a childs present ordered in plenty of time.

Not arrived yet. Nagrags said they posted yesterday on facebook but then they said on the 13th that they were going to post on the 14th. I am not hopeful. It is a shame as I like their product but they dont answer the phone or reply to messages left on the phone. They also never replied to emails. The only way to speak to them seems to be through facebook and on here, this really is not god enough. I really hate putting my comments on an open forum but it seems to be the only way to get a reply.

They've had nearly 6wks to fulfil your order - not good enough by a long way. (And that's not even counting the unkept promise of delivery a wk ago, which compounds an already unacceptable situation.) Poor you OP:( Not nice, especially when it's for a child. I hope you get an extremely large discount if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow.... I will remember this company....

Arrived today thank goodness and they are lovely. Just wish they would answer their phone or emails so you dont have to resort to here and their facebook page. No one minds if they have confidence they are coming but I lost complete confidence

I'm pleased they turned up and are as expected. Out of interest, did you take a note of when they were posted?

Hmmph, glad your items arrived. Communication seems to be a big problem these days with ordering on the internet, I am currently having a problem with Hope Valley Saddlery Im sad to say!!!

Glad you finally got yours. I ordered a new set from custom XC, like you I left about 6 weeks as was coming up to christmas and they arrived within 3 days :D

My other half and I are in the (very) early stages of setting up an embroidery business. A couple of months ago, we had a job that our machine just refused to do and a deadline we couldn't meet.

The goodly folks at Nagrags helped us out when they didn't need to (especially as we're technically 'the competition') and did the job for us faster than we could have done ourselves. They've even put us in touch with a supplier from whom we can buy a more capable machine for a terrific price - it's nice to know that not every industry is cut-throat!

The folks at Nagrags have done us two huge favours there and I'm immensely grateful for both! :D
