My horse went lame after shoeing last week - he was quite lame at trot, around 3-4 10ths.
My farrier suspected nail bind and returned on Monday to remove the nail. The horse is a lot sounder today, with only marginal lamness showing up when trotted on a circle on concrete.
For those of experience of nail bind, how long does it usually take them to recover fully, and would bute for a few days help bring down any left over immflamation?
Thanks
