Ok, poultice is being changed 12 hourly, last 2 were no puss . So should I put a dry one on with vet wrap, ? She is walking sound now, last dose antibiotics today. She is going out with foot boot on in the day as she is going loopy in stable all time. This is my first time with anything wrong with a foot so quite a novice at it! Any advice welcome. Had vet and farrier they all ok with way it's going. Want to get shoe on ASAP cos she don't cope without shoes typical thin TB feet. Thanks.

Yes - I would use a dry one now for a couple of days and carry on turning her out. If she is still sound at the end of the week I would then get the farier out and the shoe back on.

Mine had nail bind a few weeks ago (not quite the same as a prick, as not penetratig so no need to poultice etc), and the horse was back in noirmal work and sound within 1 week of the incident.
