Nails dont look right to me...ideas?

hi, came to ride my lad who been shod today and feet look like this:

i have never noticed pretruding nail.so bad before... should i complain or is this normal...footcare dummy here lol xxx
 
From the little bit I can see it looks like the farrier got interrupted part wat through clenching up & forgot to finish off! I'd give him a call.
 
Is it the same on all 4, not a very clear picture but they do also look rather high up the wall of the hoof, but impossible to be sure without seeing the foot right up to the coronary band.? I would agree, it looks like the farrier may have had a brief brain malfunction and forgotten to do the clenches? I should give him a ring, I am sure it will be easily sorted if this is all it is.
 
I think she's referring to the nail head that's touching the ground by the toe clip.
I don't think it looks right at all, it should be flush to the shoe.

Oops, I thought that was a bit of grit he was stood on! If it is a nail then I'd definitely be giving the farrier a call.
