Naked man on my hack!

...well naked apart from a baseball cap!! I took Naughty Grey Boy out for a hack yesterday afternoon and rounded a corner in the woods to see a naked man, kneeling up in a large clearing about 30 ft from the bridleway reading a (ahem) "magazine". It was fairly obvious what he was up to....We were in trot so I only got an eyeful for about 3 or 4 secs and then we were gone. My question is - why the baseball cap???
 
You know, some people pay for that sort of show. You should have stopped and asked him why the cap. I'd have paid money to watch that conversation, lol!
 
LOL - I caught a young teenaged running through our hacking area totally naked - all I saw was his white bottom disappearing into the trees followed by rapturous laughter - I reckon he and his mates were messing around in the little patch of water nearby.

I ummed and ahhed and did report him in the end (thought the police might think it OTT to report). I wasn't worried particularly (I've seen it all before) but I gave a description to the police and they said they would check to see if it matched up with anyone they've got their eye on at the moment for similar offences. I was more worried about possible kids wandering up there as it's a public footpath too and the kids are on holiday at the mo...
 
Oooooooooooooooooo:eek: Was it worth looking at ? I would have asked him if he was having trouble finding sommit ;) That is, if I'd been quick enough to think of it at the time... sm x
 
Needed somewhere to put his tissues maybe??? :) I saw a few naked men when I used to hack out, most were just naturists I think but my mare would always stop and have a really close stare.

Why do men doing that sort of thing have to take ALL their clothes off?
 
Oh god! I feel I have lived a very sheltered life, I have witnesed nothing like that thankgod!!

Though, I am pleased I haven't. Knowing my mare she would of picked that exact spot to have napped and would of had me off leaving me stranded with Mr. Naked!!

Definitely report as whilst it's a laugh on here, it is odd and you just don't know.

its the right time of year. Used to happen a lot at the yard where I used to be which was just off the A3. Common behaviour was for cars to "cruise", find you on a hack and then park up the road so you would come past.. and when you did, they would have their trews around the legs etc etc. Never the same car/person ... glad I had big horse!

You were quite right to report it, he probably knew very well he might get seen and therein lies the 'thrill' but todays indecent exposure could be tommorrows indecent assault/stalker (I have dealt with a few over the years so not overeacting, can speak from experience). Trouble is most people wait til they get home to report and by then the offender is long gone, always worth using your mobile at the time.
 
Luci07- Exactly the same thing happened to me not so long ago. Car speeds ahead of me, I think nothing of it and pass the car parked a while later, looking down at the car as you do in case he's about to open his door or something- well it was definitely something, nearly made my eyes bleed!
Did report him to the police in case he did it again and targeted someone younger/more vunerable- dirty beggar.
 
To the OP- pm me whereabouts in the country you are please... me and my friend also came across a naked man yesterday, near a wooded bridle path. We also called the police, just wondering if its the same one?! (though this one wasn't even wearing a baseball cap and did not have a magazine :p )
 
A couple of weeks ago while out on a hack I came across an old bloke having a poo in the woods. Not only that but he was armed with a whole roll of toilet roll so it was obviosuly a regular thing.

My poor cob didn't know where to look. The bloke nearly did himself a mischief pulling his trousers up at the same time as trying to hide his face.
 
My friend and I decided to have a nice early morning beach ride. Spotted two blokes in swimming (in January!) who came running out of the water towards us - completely naked. Obviously some sort of dare as they then wanted their photo taken with us, they had a friend handy with a camera. Somewhere there is a photo of a very bemused looking horse (and rider) and the two men.

And yes, it must have been VERY cold.
 
About 25 to 30 years old, slim build, dark hair and a (short) BEARD! Honestly he didn't look like the sort (ie dirty old man in a mac). Just goes to show you can't judge a book by the cover (or lack of it!).

That sounds like the bloke that used to run naked through our local woods about 30 years ago.
I remember one of my friends saying she'd seen a flasher in the woods, so what did we do? Saddle up and go for a ride out there of course!
