Easier to keep clean than the grey/coloured variety and they really do look like they gleam when they're all buffed up.

I love mares, I think they're smarter and more honest than geldings, but I don't suppose 2 really counts as a representative sample! Added to which I've had 1 boring gelding and 1 psycho that stood on his back legs all the time, probably not a very representative sample either come to think of it!

thanks teapot, yes its the first time really she's been fed proper feed, so she is looking better, and less angular! The good grazing helps too

Mysterygirl, yes definitely easier to keep clean!! Starting to agree re. mares, have never really worked with a nice one before, but I know they always say a good mare is far better than a good gelding...

We will see!!

Madhector, she is very different actually! Though I know the pics make her look similar

Lilly is alot shorter and "buttier" with a slightly roach back, Lucky is longer with a huge jumpers bump

Similar types though, and can see where you're coming from with the pics

She is prettier though

She certainly has a fab attitude, poor girly had a very sore rub from her girth last night (I didnt notice it until I got off

), which meant she really didnt want to bend where it would stretch the skin, but I did some poles and grids with her and she was still flying, even though it must have been very sore
