My new girl was called Stacey!! I thought Gracey, Lacey, Macey etc etc but had had so much bad luck in the past with horses, stuck with Stacey. I realise its an old wives tale but didnt want to tempt fate Its daft really as she actually suits it now Im used to it, proper Gavin and Stacey lol.

This is very true.

My idea of a Nigel is of a rather refined, breedy looking type. I don't think Nigel is a cob name.
