I have bought a coloured filly foal who will be arriving once weaned in the next few months, I get to name her on her passport and would like some help from you lovely lot :)

She is by a TB named Don Bollinger and ideally I would like to stick with the 'Don' at the start and then something else to do with champagne (different champagne brand etc) or a type of the Bollinger?

So far I have came up with:

Don Armand
Don Taittinger
Don Lanson
But I think these seem 'boyish'

I also thought of:
Lady Bollinger
Miss Bollinger
But there aren't any jumping out at me saying 'I'm the one!' :(

Help please :)

I like the name 'Krug' for a horse, but also there's

Dom Pérignon
Mumm (really mmmmmmmmm too :D)
Clicquot
Deutz

What about Kir Royale for a girly, which is a champagne coctkail? :)

Don is masculine so you need to look to the other half of his name.
Might be some ideas here - http://www.champagne-bollinger.com

her G.dam is Bollinger Rose so how about rose cultivars?

Ahh ok will have to drop the 'Don' then  thanks for the website, going to have a look on it now :)

Cristal Rose. A mix of champagne and 'granny'!

Ooo thanks! I didn't think of looking back to see some of the mares in his pedigree :)

We have some horses at work belonging to a syndicate called something like The Champagne Club and all theyre horses names begin with Bubbly. Not sure if youd be interested in that but thought I'd mention it in case you liked it and it helped with a name :)

I like mixing names. Our little guy is hopefully going to be registered as Kings Temple. 'Granda' is Kings Theatre and 'dad' is Templebready Fear Bui.

You could use the female form of 'Don' instead - Don is the same in Spanish and Italian, a sort of honorific title that goes in front of a person's name - becomes Donna (It) or Doña (Sp).

Don't suppose your filly is black and white. If so how about

(Don) Black Velvet. Black velvet is a cocktail with champers and guinness. Yum

Or

(Don) Mimosa. Champers and orange juice

and then there is the classic

(Don) Kir Royale - champers and creme de cassis (sp)
